any tips for new people like myself to help get more votes on our creations... besides the obvious ones like "submit your chop early"... lol... thanks if you can help.

These elements help:
1) humour
2) some form of story, or concept, in the end post
3) clean edges and cutting out (many tutorials on this - study them!)
4) sending money to Senior Members of the site
5) post as big and detailed of an image as possible
6) posting any source images can also help people see how much sweat you've put into your chop
7) refrain from anything having to do with George Bush or Michael Jackson

after you put in ten sloppy chops so you can vote---
start doing really good ones.
I expect to see your eleventh chop to be way better than the first ten.
Now do good chops like that all the time and you'll be just fine.

your entries should contain:
1) nudity (frontal will bring you most votes!)
2) violence (bonus votes for blood!)
3) fecals (puke is the favorite here!)
4) jokes on minorities (gays, handicapped people, ...)
5) nationalism (show your country's flag as often as you can!)
6) racism (especially antisemetism!)

Most important thing is : THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX ...
If the source is a train ... turn it into a zeppelin ...
if the souce are lips ... make maggots out of them ...
Suprise people and (goes without saying) use good technique ...
first practise the basics over and over and then try new stuff everytime .... after a while you can mix them and do almost anything you want ...
