I know I have too much time on my hands. So it is probably no surprise that I decided to browse through the "memberlist" to see what interesting information might be available to a curious seeker. And ,indeed, I was surprised to find a time, dating back to the origin of the site, when it was possible to have a winning entry without receiving a single vote. There were four entries in that contest and nobody voted for any of the entries. Therefore, I am presuming that the first submitted entry (per today's rules) was awarded the win. And in the member's portfolio, the entry discussed here is listed as a winner. He also submitted the entry that was awarded second place in this same contest.
This interesting slice of history(for me) is not intended as a negative reflection on the site and/or the noted submitter. It is simply a piece of PSC site history that I find interesting and amusing when considered in light of the number of votes it takes to earn the same type of recognition- today.
I also noted that the same situation occurred more than once. Which led me to wonder how the variables used in calculating the stats would be impacted by such unusual and unique data.
