i figured that i'd post some of my writing to see if i could get some outside critisim...
So if any one else had any writing theyd like to share with the PSC group, feel free to post it here too...

and if this topic gets pushed to the bottom i'd completely understand...lol

Everything seems so much slower, but the mind is in a race.
The reasons are never clear, the voices are always cold.
The mind will always wander, until it's weak and old.

Do not heed the warnings, of this great demise
Just hide inside your little world, disguised in all your lies.
But when our time together, has all but come and passed,
The boy you see may work it out, and be a man at last."

The Reaper

Nice. sort of reminds me of Linkin Park's music, but makes a bit more sense

I read a lot. I am usually honest when people show there stuff and tell them I aint impressed, sometimes I say nothing.
This however is good stuff, the best anyone's ever posted at PSC.
Sounds off the cuff and honest. I give 4 stars out of four. Good job!

I liked it too. Your writing comes off as very sincere, which I think is the biggest challenge. I also like the imagery involved...I don't know, it's like expressive without being pushy. I don't know how to say it. Here's the only poem I can remember writing:

"I could try to mix that color
I could memorize your face
I could never really hope
To capture all your subtle grace"

I wrote that after trying vainly to paint a portrait once, ten or fifteen years ago.

Dude, i just read those again. And want to say again, they are awesome. you should look into writing music. You could make some good cash

actually i do write songs too mason, just have trouble keeping a band together...lol
