scion, it's the first one I've gotten that's quite this bad. Zak is ten, so I guess he's at the age to hit that stage...and I gotta admit, the teacher in question is a real swear-word. Usually I am pro-teacher...but this one...I weep for the future. That's why I had to scan and post it. My teachers would kick her ass for her penmanship and sloppy punctuation.

Want to laugh some more? When questioned about the pen incident, Zak had this to say, and I quote: "First of all, it was a piece of plastic, not metal. And second, it only flew about two feet--that's hardly across the room."

Parenting makes my head hurt. Tell ya what--you pay shipping, we'll call it good.

Well, does Zack KNOW you're bidding him off to the likes of US??? THAT SHOULD TURN HIM AROUND, IMHO.

If not, we just added a study and live across the street from an elementary and high school. But you have to come with...ok?

Razz
I don't get notes cause our kids don't go to school.
to be very very honest, those seem like very minor infractions to me.
I mean, I come home from school to learn the kid was taunting a gator with a
stick, or has gotten his hands on the clippers and has decided to do my gardening for me,
or played "lock myself in the car with the keys" and then there's..
well you get the idea Smile
When I was ten I was going to school wasted on hash or coke, so I think
yer doing pretty good there Razz

Question: Am I the only one who thinks homework is
pretty cruel, I mean, several hours a day in school isn't enough?
Can you imagine having to take home work from your job everyday? PAH!
I don't get it.

Tiffany, I don't think it's cause for alarm. Besides, he's no longer nursing, you don't have to carry him for another 9 months and hopefully he is potty trained by now. Do you really want to replace him with a new one and go through all that again??? Notice that the teacher went from green ink to blue ink?...Zak seems like a typical ten year old boy, he's still only at defcon 3, black ink is next. I wouldn't worry unless the teacher sends him home with a note in red ink. However, if the teacher in question is a man and he starts using purple ink, report him to the child protection authorities at once.

IT COULD BE WORSE:

I've been much worse than this, but we exploited the weak.
They never dared speaking to my parents.

Just today, we had an orange-fight during Physics, and we lit a bottle of correction-fluid on fire before christmas.

I don't know how much money you have, how high are you willing to go for someone to take him off your hands. I think the reserve should start at at least $100.00, you guys can keep this thread open for awhile until you can make a legit offer. You don't think anyone is really going to pay YOU? One moment of pleasure years of pain.

I want to be proactive about this so:
Get him a dog, if properly trained the dog can eat his homework which I think from the writing skills of the educator should keep her scratching her head for a while. What does she think that she 's going to get a free ride until pension time? I say no, let her work and thank god for Zak who is doing his part to keep her on her toes. Bless the little lad he's has found his nitch. The world needs kids like this otherwise the world will become more boring than it usually is. Name me one child kid who was not a devil in school who eventually became noteworthy, I can't. He's bored and needs more stimulation. Why not get him a cattle prod and see what kind of note the idiot teacher comes up with then, Challenge the underworked, that's my motto.
