what do you want? A pc for photoshopcontest.com? Smile
I think you're talking about photoshop itself... it depends on what you are working on... big images need much ram...but the best opinion for layout, photomanipulation etc. is a mac i don't know much about mac's .. maybe other people can help you...ram is important!

I had asked a similar question in this thread here. Hopefully you'll find some useful information in there too.

If you are buying Photoshop CS2....you will want to load up on RAM as much as possible.
Adobe has added "Bridge" browser to Photoshop CS2 (which is a seperate program).
I currently have PS CS2...and after i bought it and ran it on my (256 MB Ram) with Windows XP...
it ran verry very slow. So i beefed it up to 512 MB Ram

I agree with the last post. Get allot of Ram. I tried using CS2 on my laptop running 512 ram. It worked but not that good. I bumped it to 2 gig and its smooth sailing.. I also have 2 gig in my desktop and it runs great.
