yeah, the login issues are PSC's problem, I have them too, no matter which pc i'm using. And I don't have the update.

As for the other trouble, who's the idiot who had millions of people download it? Obviously there's something wrong with it.

MASSON SHOULD REALY PAY MORE ATTENTION IN CLASS.
It's a legal, manditory requirment, msn broke some US pattent law, internet explorer is not allowed to activate 'activeX' anymore, the viewer has to do it his/her self by clicking on the button/movie/box what ever.
not downloading the update is a good temporary solution, but there will be updates you'll need one day, then they got ya

yeah, shame on you, Masson. stupid ass...

what I mean is, is it supposed to be a pain in the rear, then? You guys were making it sound like some update that had major problems, as if it wasn't functioning properly.

i dont know about sposed to be a pain, but it is, i dont think there was sposed to be a work_around, but there's 3 i know of already, all very time consuming, and most people wont bother updating older sites,

there are 5 updates in this batch, only one deals with activeX, one of the others is screwing up many other things, (technical shite i dont understand) but if things on your desktop or things saved to your desktop start doing strange things, then that's part of it, it only efects some computers, and mostly running HP equipment,
that's update: KB908531,

google it

I don't have to worry about it, I think. Microsoft's system labeled my pc obsolete years ago and stopped bugging me with auto updates. Laughing

woo hoo, that damn update has been updated, or rather, there is a patch for the update here,
http://pscurl.com/o9o7n3 (support.microsoft.com)

if you have the update and it's screwing up viewing flash sites, download it and install

to test it, go to my site at
http://www.hallcross.co.uk
rollover the nav btns on the left, if you see a grey border around the btns and a tool tip telling you to "click to activate" you need the patch,
if not, you need the update, and the patch

Very Happy Laughing Very Happy Laughing Very Happy
doing the happy dance, i dont need to re-code all those pages

I wish I knew what everyone was talking about.......

....I've read all this and mostly, kinda understood....

....then my head starts to hurt and I start to get angry at small furry animals,

so I have to stop and go calm down by watching cartoons....

....Just tell me everythings gonna be ok and I don't have to worry, please. (you can lie, if it sounds good!)
