Thought I would relay a humorous (yet stupid) thing I did in regards to pro hockey.....some years ago (at least 15) I attended my first NHL game here in Calif ..Kings vs some other team on skates..had great seats and i loved the action......the other person w me it was his first game too.................so 1st period ends and we go for more cocktails and grub ...2nd perios is action packed and the kings are ahead by 3 goals...so with about 2 minutes left in the SECOND period we got up and left .....so we wouldn't hit all that parking lot traffic trying to get home.....only did we realize about 10 minutes later (via the car radio tuned to local sports talk channel) that the hockey game was still being played....we were really bummed ....figuring the other team MUST of come back to tie the score and now they were in overtime/sudden death etc ..whatever they call it in hockey.........wasn't till the next morning while telling my father of the night and overtime did he inform me that there ARE THREE PERIODS IN A HOCKEY GAME!!!!!
PLEASE PASS THE DUMBSHIT OF THE CENTURY AWARD TO ME!.......thanks
...embarssing ..but funny as hell huh ??? hey if ya can't laugh at yourself ....yaddy yaddaa ya...

Great story, CB! I'm a St. Louis BLUES fan myself. Dated a guy who had season tickets. Was fun while the season lasted!

Claude: well, you know how it is... love the Habs when they're winning, hate them anytime else. I'm just glad they got rid of that Hair Bear Theo.
