I found some old tapes Laughing
Some of you younger fellows who have just quit the diapers don't even know what they are but Yes we did record music on those spaghetti rolls and it took minutes Exclamation to find the favourite song.
I found this band. I have always wondered what the hell is this song about?
Anyone???

Sad news about Adam Yauch. At 47... Sad
Love the Beastie Boys!

Cool classic from The Band!
Nice to see also a young Robbie Robertson!

And Zappa... another one who left too early. He was my idol when I was teenage.
What a great band, with Bozzio, Belew... brought me great memories!
I saw Zappa live twice... the first show in 1979 after he released 5 recent albums in 78-79
(Studio Tan, Sleep Dirt, Orchestral Favorites, Joe's Garage & Joe's Garage Acts II & III... Zappa was one of the most prolific composer ever),
and I think the second show after he released Sheik Yerbouti.

BTW Paul, I didn't give you news about the music video of Joseph Arthur that my wife realized.
Finally it has not been published. It's a bit weird but anyway... she was very disappointed.
Originally, she only wanted to shoot a straight live performance, outdoors, somewhere downtown.
He offered few takes, singing few times the same song by listening the original version of the song, for making an official video.
After she edited the whole thing, his first impression was good... he liked it, but said maybe some minor changes or adjustments are needed.
She made a very nice work. Few months later after looking at it few times, he said it wasn't enough strong like this,
but he wasn't able or comfortable to explain exactly what was wrong... so they disagreed on few things and the project failed.
It was about the first song from the Graduation Ceremony album... Out On A Limb.
Finally an official video of that song was released last summer... very different but also well done.
So we have our own unofficial video of that song that we can't share on the web. Sorry!

Oh well, you can't win them all, Out On A Limb is a great tune,.. overall, your wife made contact, and maybe something could happen in the future, J.A. may have made prior commitments to the person that did the official video, you never know.
