About music...
NIN, Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Machine Of Loving Grace were some great bands I listened to in the 90s.

I'm back with other Norvegian new jazz, a new video on YouTube. Audun Kleive & Christian Wallumrod jamming at Bugge Wesseltoft studio. They are coming in Montréal in early July... I'll not miss it! Smile

There's also a good guitarist & composer from the same label (Jazzland) I didn't talk about... Eivind Aarset. This CD is really great... Électronique Noire Light Extracts...

YIIIIKES! Shocked Crying or Very sad Laughing I think they're just try'n way too haaaard. I cant believe Christian Marclay and Thurston Moore(although I dont see him in the video) were a part of that total flop of improvisation.

ok.....a reminder that both of them are really good artists:

Sonic Youth ....nuff said for Thurston Moore...no?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jttK1tXWsU4&mode=related&search=

Christian Marclay has been doing these multimedia installations in galleries all over the place. He did one near me, recently. Really cool stuff. Hard to capture it in a video Confused, but you'll get the jist of it....I think.

Yeah.....they are stir'n it up a bit, and I do like MIA, (not so much LadySovereign tho...kindof annoying) but sadly so, they're just a "flash in the pan". I guess they have made their mark tho...eh? Gotta give'm credit for that.
