What can I say?
Just a great show! Joseph Arthur is one of the best singer-songwriter for sure, super cool & very generous.
I especially loved when he played solo with acoustic guitar 3 songs in a row.
The kind of stuff that made people crazy all over the place... what a great singer! Very Happy

Some pictures I took yesterday...

...a couple albums as of recent.

Seems like I've been wait'n ages for this one. Buy it!.....Why?!?!?..what d'ya mean why...cause it's a really friggin good album...that's why! Razz Cool
I don't think they are capable of make'n a crap album. It may not be quite as good as previous efforts but....
Underworld : Oblivion Bells
Crocodile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGe5f5CbXcU

..and
Soul Savers : It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land.

This is a pretty unique and brooding (at times) , genre skipping (soul, rock, hip-hop, gospel etc.) album ....and besides Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees) is doin some of the vocals , so nuff said I think.
Revival http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AUN_MMHmP8

Thanks Claf Very Happy those are some great shots, I would have to say that Joseph Arthur has easily become one of my favorite artists of all time, he's got to come down toward Miami sometime soon.

That Underworld Crocodile was kinda funky, and pretty good, Smile

I liked the Revival vid too Wink

future-proof

There are those certain albums that will never get "tired" ...everybody has at least one I think. You know ... no matter how many hundreds of times you've played it( even to the point where ya had ta go out and buy another copy cause the one ya got is so worn it won't play any more) you'll never get sick of it?

well..this one of those certain albums for me:

Almost crimes is the best BSS. Good choice.

Those other links were great, and I hadn't heard of either so that's always a bonus. I think they are missing out on teh 'funky' tho. They got the baroque sound going, but they don't seem to be able to jam with the flavor the BSS gots, thats what sets them out. *end rant

Wink
