"I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred. Has a very personal meaning to me.

When Richard Fairbrass sings the line -

"I'm too sexy for your party.
Too sexy for your party.
No way I'm disco dancing",

my eyes start welling up with tears and I just have to pour myself a cup of camomile tea, then find a nice soft chair and blanket where I can curl up, chill out, and think about things.

My second favorite song is "Don't Talk Just Kiss", also by Right Said Fred.
I like this one purely for the music and not as much for the meaning.

like Rey Rey, Tangled Up in Blue....sublime!

for the radical Lou Reed/John Cale in me...The Velvet Underground's "The Black Angel's Death Song" or "Sister Ray". In a quieter mood: "Pale Blue Eyes"

OK...here's an oldie but goodie...

Fish heads, Fish heads
Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yum

Fish heads, Fish heads
Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yum

In the morning
Laughing, happy Fish Heads
In the evening
Floating in the soup

Fish heads, Fish heads
Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yum

Oh! I found another good one...

Frogs with dirty little lips
Dirty little warts on their finger-tips
Dirty 'n green
Tiny 'n mean
Floppin' around
By the edge of the stream

Frogs with dirty little eyes
Dirty little tongues all covered with flies
Dirty brown
Floppin' around
Puffed up 'n bloated
When the sun goes down

Frogs with dirty little nose
Dirty little spots all over their clothes
Dirty legs
Dirty feet
Dirty little frogs is what you eat

The definitive Joy Division album, and my fave. Definitely gives you a good look into the brain of a man who eventually hanged himself. "Closer" could bring anyone down. I would guess that you also listen to Warsaw, yes?

One of my newer favorites. "Hurt" the Johnny Cash version. You can just feel all the hard years he lived and the pain of age in every word. In the video you see his fingers and face twisted from age and sickness. Check out thevideo:

How can you not feel that? Johnny Cash could sing Twinkle Twinkle little star and give it a whole new deeper meaning.
