CHAPTER ONE
It was the best of times. It was for him...and only him.
The memory of what he had done, so vivid upon his thoughts, blocked out the world.
Almost in a trance he did not hear the swish, and clack of the wipers on the shield. His eyes no longer tracked the curving of the road. The car drove on almost as of it's own accord.
So solitary in his thoughts was he, no longer a man,not even a conscience, just
a soul swimming in the aftermath.............*He hadn't started there alone...there were others...friends?relations?...something..one of them...she..yes a girl..she was special, but why? It all seems so FAR AWAY!!!!!!!*
The quiet shout in his mind brought him back to the real world for a moment...
passing down route ten..it's very late....or early....haven't passed this way in years....
"Was I here before?"...ok, yes...definately yes...a long...oh so very ,long time ago..
....................*She was with me*......the road forgotten...the strange trip continues....
something happened....SOMETHING that happened IS STILL GOING TO HAPPEN.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

.
.
.
The game is to continue the story and do it with class..

But it was no game, as he awoke, the sun beating down on him, he realized his nightmare was real, floating in the middle of the sea with only the few things he could grab, as his boat sank just hours before, in the middle of the night, all he wanted, was to hear her voice, just one more time, before the end that was to come, off in the distance another boat was on the horizon, knowing he would never be seen, all he wished for, was to hear her voice, just one more time before the end, nothing else mattered, but the sound of her voice.

As he began to drift into darkness, the freezing water rapidly paralyizing his body, he heard a faint tune on the wind, slowly gaining volume...

Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you,
That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're one
Love was when I...

What the hell!? He thought, This isn't f*cking Titanic! Damn, this cold water is really getting to me...I can't even feel my legs.Only then did he look down and realize that millions of little shrimp were in the process of knawing his legs off. Ahhhhhhhhh! he thought. Wait, why am I thinking about screaming? he thought. "Ahhhhhhhhh!" He screamed.

moments turned to days turned to weeks turned to Eternities... the constant undulation of the sea tossing him about like a tossed salad. In and out of consciousness, his world turned into a kind of salty nightmare world of alternating sky sea sky sea..

Until, with stunning abruptness, all motion ceased.

"am I dead?" he thought.

"no, there are no naked hot Buddweiser chicks rubbing me down with cocoabutter" he thought next.

With that he raised his sunburned, wind torn face and looked out onto

Tsst, good thing he was behind the wheel. Those quiet mind shoutings can really be distracting. Especially if there's an ambulance or policeman behind you.

"Honey, When ya coming to bed?"
"Soon as I'm done this chop...gimme ten minutes."
"Heh..yeah right...see you tomorrow then."
"Honest...just a few minutes."
Ten minutes turned into three hours. While she lay dreaming I was
chopping the greatest chop that was ever chopped...HA! Well, I could
keep trying anyway.
By time I passed out and woke up again...she'd gotten up and gone off for the day..
to do whatever it is she does. I wouldn't know, this was a rare day off for me.
So,wake the 'puter out of it's sleep and while that's waking up, get me a coffee.
The coffee slipped from his fingers unnoticed when he walked back into the room,
and saw the chop on his screen.
This wasn't right....this wasn't something he'd ever chop..
his style was there, but the sentiment? Oh man, that wasn't right at all......
