Hi everybody,
I must resize many icons from 22x22pixel to 16x16pixel, but the problem
is: I lose the crisp edges and or some pixel are on the wrong place.

Photoshop offer 3 different modes to modify the picture size, but nothing is satisfying.
My workaround is: new drawing.
Have anybody a better solution to resize these icons in photoshop, or a hint for a other program?

try saving as .png, dont use save for web,

but I have no problems with the quality after saving, and consequently with the format,
but rather with the behave at scaling from 22x22 to 16x16 (fucking small!).
I've tried something with a PNG, but nothing changes.
The format should be an BMP with indexed colours.
Whatever, think I must do it new.

Its simply a problem of 24 boxes being translated into 16 (on a side).

I am not aware of any way to do that without pixel drop out, or aliasing.

just tryed it in flash where you can play with bits of pixels, (vectors) all works great untill i try to save it, same crappy resaults

Yes Ränmän, that's it, and it's fact, where should pixel gone from 22 to 16!?
