The Nike on the crotch doesn't looks so great. >_>

The dashed lines look a bit odd too.

Nice job Arm. I work in a couple Ad agencies. The placement of the ball is disturbing. The first thing they would say is that you did not get their logo right. (Big No-No) I would also say it is too much like an ipod commercial. it's good, but I don't think they would use it. I would still clean it up and use it for a portfolio. It's nice. When you submit art to an add agency it goes through many people. Everybody adds their opinions and make changes. When the final piece finally comes out, you don't even recognize your art. Laughing I see it every day. Nobody ever gets their art used in an add by sending a picture. you might get a job if you have enough pieces to show them , and they like them, but they are not just going to use the image. (unless you have family in the buisness, there are VERY rare occasions.) Still, keep up the good work and put some of your best pieces in a portfolio and go show them to people in add agencies if that is what you want to do. It is a fast and furious and fun business. By the way, I like the dotted lines. Wink

Really nice one armogeden!! Something what doesn't match have other people told.
But I would doesn't send it to Nike. As REyRey said, big companys working together with agencies who making the whole concept.
But when you send it, it's possible they use it without your known. For example, a friend of mine have designed a table concept, and visualized it to IKEA. They said "no thanks".
One year later he have seen this table in the new IKEA Catalog Confused
Many similar examples exists with clothes from fameless designers and H&M.

Anyhow... great illustration! Smile

Like RR said, it is too much like iPod commercial. Big companies like Nike needs something really new & original. But nice exercice. Any artist need to try many things to find their own style. Also, for a nice illustration portfolio, I think it's better to show some visuals without brand names or logos. Art directors can figure if your style can fit well with one of their clients. never doubt about the commercial potential of your work. Before you show anything commercial, protect, trademark, copyright your idea and image.Always display/tell that your work is protected.
when you send stuff to companies, keep your emails organized so you know what you sent, to whom, easy with outlook or apple mail..Every work has a value.never do anything for free.
