Everyone knows today is the Gordonk contest. The Gordonk is the most recent PSC creation (we had a few before, like baby deif, the homeless guy, rondo... no, wait... rondo was real... damn!).
Gordonk broke the record on the most voted source chosen (ok, I'm making that up... but hey... maybe it did...)
The former record holder is

For those who already use all votes, fine... for those like me, that barely use votes, use your votes today!!! It's not a day for highly skilled perfect geeked chops!! It's a day for fun with Gordonk!!! Give them away!!
We can't make Gordonk get there alone. But if we work together, we can do it!!!! So I call all the Gordonk enthusiasts and those who don't know him to vote in the contest and make Gordonk a permanent part of PSC history!!!!

i'd never heard of gordonk before it appeared as a source. what is it? did someone here make it in a contest or something?

Gordonk was created by mightybeet, in the daily chat. I guess he can explain his origin better. It's the kind of thing that starts like a trash talk and grows out of control. A couple of members even bought the "I love Gordonk" t-shirt. When LordDavid* submited the original Gordonk render as a source option, it was the most voted in the source choice advantage feature, and now is the source for the contest. Gordonk even has his own Myspace http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=98791065&MyToken=0ec53ddb-a6d6-4b9a-ad88-077590285f97 and has 59 friends in there. As far as I'm concerned, there are rumours of a Gordonk short movie...

Hey! I submitted the Gordonk as a potential source for a lark! Beet takes credit of creating Gordonk, but I at the very least take credit for submitting it as a source...

that cute little ....oh wait...had the xxx site open...yes gordonk is disturbing. To add to arc, gor=part gorilla and donk=part donkey if ya didn't go to the website.
