Could someone please explain what the rating box is beside the views is,and how it works.I see there are entries with lots of votes and no rating and others with less votes and do have a rating . ie: my garden pond entry in the just floating contest has a rating of 8 and other entries with more votes don`t have any rating. As well the top 2 have a rating opposite to the votes each one has. How can this be?Thanx

hey Lux.

None members (guests) and people not logged in can rate images 1-10

log yourself out, and then check an open comp image, you should see 1-10 smart buttons, instead of the vote/comment box.

The idea is to get more people involved.

only in the event of a tie on votes, do these ratings come into play Very Happy

hope that clears that up for you bud

go to your profile page (ie click on your username top right)

then go down the bottom of that screen and somewhere down there you'll see a Log Out link

or just scroll down this page Smile (basically the logout button appears anywhere in pages served from the forum)

Blind, as I said. Laughing

I found that log out button, however, it's really not on any page on the site. I was looking for it on the wrong ones... Wink
