Nay, says I!
PMs are sufficient. If it's something you'd only say anonymously, then it's probably something you shouldn't say at all.

i would probably use this more than i use the 'best quality' radio buttons (which actually i never use cos i'm lazy)
and it might be a useful addition, for helping people improve their chopping skills
but i don't see the need to have it anonymous. if you have a reasonable criticism, you shouldn't mind people seeing it was you who said it. indeed, this prevents people making lazy (ie not thought out) or insulting criticism
constructive criticism can already be given in regular comments/votes (or private msgs), and in my opinion i think that's adequate

people could have a sensitivity rating, so you know whether or not they can handle critiquing of their work
any bad reactions to criticism result in an increase of your sensitivity rating

who cares........if you lose votes from somebody due to criticism....those aren't valuable votes to be losing in my opinion if that is how they base their voting.
I think the comment field is enough...... If criticism is done in a respectful way it shouldn't offend

Constructive criticism is great.....but CONSTRUCTIVE being the operative word. It can simply be politely put in the comment box or privately PM'd. I don't see a need for a new box.

that's sort of the whole point of the comment box, to leave constructive criticism, as well as any other comments. Like others have said, no need for anonymous comments, it'd just be used by certain members to leave dumb comments. Although sometimes they could probably be pretty entertaining...
