Well, maybe it is, but that's not why I'm posting this.

My entry in looking down did not do as well as I thought it would. For me that's a first time (most of the times I'm basically right about my perspectives).

Anyway, since the people who did vote for it had no remarks and noone left a comment suggesting what could have been better, I'm clueless of what's not right with it.

So, my question is simple:
Why did you not vote for it (or what could have been done better). Smile

ps: this is the image: Crashed

If the firetruck sat at the same angle as the ambulance that would have done it for me..Nice job anyway Very Happy

actually, I took this in consideration but I had the same thought as Tofu (as he mentions in his comment http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/108726/votes.html here).

On the other hand, now I think about it, maybe the airplane isn't correctly angled now...

thanks for the advice

@yello_piggy: thanks Smile

The perspective of both the cars and the plane are a bit of. And there is to much smoke in the line of sight, so the picture isn't very clear. You could think about letting the smoke flow more sideways of the plain.

For accuracy, you could have put some debris lying around

I wasn't sure, but something about the angles weren't settling right for me. I didn't leave a comment because I couldn't put my finger on what could be changed. I looked at it for quite some time trying to figure out what was bothering me to no avail. Great idea though, and good job really. Smile

I've tried to draw the perspective of the plane and the ambulance in your picture. As you can see, it makes the flames wrong also, cause you'd see them on top

I see dozens of votes everyday, where people point out some serious or slight imperfections in the chop yet vote for it anyway. Why? I don't know. I like your chop, T. Some of the smoke on the right has a hard edge to it but I like it. It was undervoted, imho.

Ohhhh, nevermind...that's the skid mark! Laughing

That pretty much sums it up for me too. I do think it was undervoted though now that I look at it again.

The angle of the plane felt wrong at first, but then I took a step back and thought, well maybe it could be tilted like that, so that wasn't the issue. But, the angle of the ambulance vs the firetruck is WAY off and that was a killer. Also, there really ought to be more debris from both the plane and the displaced chunks of earth all across the entire scene. Plus there's detail work that was lacking top right, like one of the poles is overlapped slightly by the dirt crash path and there's a shadow from something that is no longer there. It wasn't far from a vote at all, but the ambulance thing was pretty big.

The perspective is insanely messed up. The ambulance is Off.
And what is billowing from the plane at the right hand side?
