Our local library system links libraries from around the state. While perusing the cooperative online card catalog I stumbled across an ebook that appears to be open to everyone.

The book is titled "Photoshop CS At Your Fingertips: Get In, Get Out, Get Exactly What You Need" and, for my beginner eye, is pretty good reference. So far everything in there appears to apply to CS2 as well.

Even though the net library is from Wisconsin it seems that anyone can get a free registration and then view the book.

If anyone else has come across a good e-book I encourage you to post the link in this thread.

Very Happy

Thanks for the link DP!

I went through the site I listed above. They've got 22 free e-books on different versions of Photoshop (from v5 to CS2 and Elements 2 through 3). Some of the books look really promising (can't wait for vacation).

The only problem is it appears you can't download the books and have to read them online.

Full list of NetLibrary ebooks with "Photoshop" in the title.

I'm really liking the NetLibary. Very Happy

While looking for stuff for work I found some other ebooks that may be of interest to the PSC crowd.

"Fundamentals of Copy and Layout 3rd Ed." by Book, Albert C. Schick, C. Dennis. 1997

"The Complete Idiots Guide to Drawing" by Jarrett, Lauren. Lenard, Lisa. 2000

"Becoming Designers: Education & Influence" by Dudley, Esther. Mealing, Stuart.

Happy reading!

Confused Apparently to access NetLibary you need to have a library card from an affiliated library to setup the account?

Has anyone tried to access these books? Have you successfully gotten to them?

I suspect, from reviewing the word LIBRARY, that it is a place where RARYs are set free.

Just a guess on my part... I could be wrong. Confused
