Photoshop Contest Forum Index - General Discussion - Handy tool for Font searching - Reply to topic

Found this little tool on the net wich proved allready very usefull for me.

I'm sure many of you needed a certain type of font to match an existing font on an image. I know this can be quite painfull if you have no idea what it is, especially when you're on a deadline.

This might help: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

Just upload the image with the font, and let it search.
I found it to be very good, when you adjust you're image to a black font, with a white background, aka high contrasts (as photoshoppers I figure you know how to do that Wink )

The fonts you find there are to be paid, so you can always try to find the download somewhere else, but atleast you will know the name of it.
