Hello! I have been browsing the web for sites to challenge my skillz. I found this one, and hey, real prizes! The real prize to me is learning a new trick with photoshop, but something cool in my grubby little hands would be cool too. Looking forward to getting to know some of you here, and hoping I can find the time to enter contests more than occasionally.
Cool

Yeah, now that I look around some I see no stars next to any contests Rolling Eyes
Whatever, this site seems cooler than this other site I've been on.
Like I said, new skillz would be the real prize. I like that anyone can enter contests. Sink or swim like.

My first entry! In High Clouds, so that won't be up for a few days. Couldn't resist that one. I'm not going to zip through my first ten, it's what I learn, not how fast I get to vote, that counts.
Game on!

I couldn't stand the thought of having to crop/squish my entries as small as I would have had to as a disadvantaged member. Razz

I thought I'd post something I've done:

From this pic I took:

So y'all can see what I bring. It's an early chop of mine, I've learned a couple of things since. It was for a contest themed Mysterious Places. This site may be more difficult, since there is always a themepost to work from. Not sure. But the longer time periods on the contest is great! Especially as an advantaged member. Very Happy
Thanks all for the warm welcome!

Thanks!

Are there any contests here that don't have a themepost? Like my post above was for a contest that was called Mysterious Places and the instructions were simply to pretend that you had voyaged to a strange and wonderful land and taken a touristy photo of it to bring home.
Anything like that? Or, show us your best use of [insert-photomanipulation tool-here].

Question

Well bascally every contest here is not a theme contest. You decide the theme, you just get the source you have to manipulate in any way you like Smile

and hello...

Okay, I guess I meant any contests without a source?
