i was starting to do the ususal voting but my modem has problem , it s down to 20 ko per sec , this french company Orange is a shame, ususally i have to reset the box (called Livebox) once a week to get the connection working good, but i reseted it 4 times today and notthing happens. I dunno if u american and others have a similar box (its used to get free phoning and tv) but i checked online forums and many people (frenchies) are pissing off by this Livebox piece of sh... so sorry i will vote as soon as its fixed.

yeah, we have modems, too. Don't know what I can do to help ya though. I get mine to work if it's not working by chucking it around a bit...

i got a surfboard SB4100 modem with blueyonder, i have to unplug mains for a full min' for reboot to work

same here. More detailed is I have to unplug the network box and the modem for about a minute THEN plug the modem in (leave network box unplugged) and wait till all the lights are back up on the modem then plug the network box back in. Not sure if that's the same hook up you have or not. Also had a problem in the past that I was getting a poor signal and tv company checked my line and found out that I was getting too much power to my modem. You would think that would be good but the way he explained it is the same as when you wind out your car in first and don't shift. Lower rpm's are better. Hope that makes sense.

okay, i let the stuff turned off , i went buy some beer with my mountain bike (1H30) , i reinstaled and re-plugged the whole thing and it looks good, i can even watch the Banjo-Marco video now mwahahahah Laughing

I normally do ittime to time and it works but it was 44 day s i didn't and my connex,yesterday was really fast even more than usual (weird,is it possible ??) then it totally crashed (well its slowed a really alot), i spent my day in rebooting and its a bit better but it remains fragile, can it be sthg with the cache memory idunno...no sying shit neither...well im not worrried but i quit trying for now, ill see this tomorrow...
