Talk about a premonition. When I saw this poster you put up it brought to mind this airbrush illustration I did back in 1979 (after I split up with my girlfriend Shocked Laughing). It's not exactly the same but it does look somewhat similar.I think I got the idea from some photo I saw in a magazine, but that was 28 years ago...so I couldn't use photoshop,I had to use a "real airbrush",hehe.Anyway, I guess I'll have to go see the movie...maybe it's a "Premonition". Cool

Ah, here's a good page of examples. Not Photoshopped, but the same concept.

here are some examples of what that link provides:

Coolness. If I ever find talent I'll try one of these.

okay, i had to try one drawing ,hoping to find new shapes to make a face...i came with this

The challenge is really high with this cuz out of the usual birds or branches, i had to find sthg "new"...its just a sketch in which i didnt think about what i was going to do but, in which the sketch itself had to make the shapes (hard to explain, but its more or less how i usually proceed for all my paintings)... finally ive benn lucky to come with this, the result had to be good , even if its not as well balanced that a normal landscape or a normal face, cuz its both...the funny thing id that it first looked like Yellow Piggy portrait but the beard was made with a sort of grass ..whatever it was not really good (sorry YP haha)...end of story... Cool
2 flying dutches (hahaha) for eyes and the barks (boats)...they just came from the speed of the brush...

That's awesome, Micose! I'm glad to see someone do a work of their own finally. Smile

The aspect of these that I like is the use of empty space to create the image. Nifty. Very Happy
