about time i got back into my own topic, first let me say WOW some great look backs and some great new chops done all in the aid of this thread.

i have completed my chop and after looking at some of the examples listed within this thread i think i will just leave it out of the comp all together and spend some more time learning this technique as i do not have the skill to match what has been done here.

no not feeling sorry for myself just realise what i wanted to do is slightly above my level right now but watch out for some "glass entries" from me soon.

again thank you all for replying and sharing your knowledge/experience

Somthing I cooked up... nothing complex this time just simple making glass no masks or hard tecniques for this one. sorry but its fegging simple Razz

eating in one hand photoshop in the other... lifes tough i tell ya lol

I don't get it - solid glass or hollow glass?

orb. its solid otherwise i would have made more specular.

I thought in a solid orb you would see a lot more of the distorted surrounding space and it would be flipped 180°. Your distortions look more like a weak magnifying glass.

and yes that is true... normally i dispise lensflare but i tryed to make it as quik as poss...
