A true artist doesn't need accessories. Use your teeth to chew back the wood and sharpen the lead. If that fails go to the fireplace and grab a piece of charcoal from the fire last night.
Warning don't try to use the ones that are still red. You won't get that color, except on your hands and it might hurt a bit.

Magically Delicious!

"Nice one S, you should try and watch an old BBC documentary of Picasso shot through a large clear glass panel, as he paints it from the other side. It's rather like having Picasso painting your TV screen from the inside... magic stuff. (Also you get to see The Man himself, as he works... a neat idea for your next speed 'PAINTING' exercise!) Wink

BTW: Never, ever, ever use a pencil sharpener, they crack the lead/charcoal inside the pencil shaft with that twisting motion. Always use a scalpel, or a box cutter!

Just a hint from an old Art student, who couldn't afford to replace his art materials that often... Much preferred spending it on beer!" Laughing

Great job!
I buy that kind of pencil you have just the other day but I guess mine is broken cause it doesn't make pictures like yours do.
Maybe music is the key? Laughing What is that music anyway?
