They have gotten rid of many of the redundant black lines surrounding windows, and replaced them with drop shadows and transparencies. What are your thoughts on this interface design?

I didn't know that the new OS was released yet.

I have version OS X version 10.3.9 It took a bit of time to get the learning curve down from being a MAC operator since the late 80's early 90's going from 9 to 10 took a bit of work, but I love OS X now.

is there something higher now? (geez like I even need to ask, there prob was a newer version as soon as I took this one out of its box) Laughing

Of course not! this is Apple's Mac OS X we're supposedly talking about, not Microsoft Windows!

being a PC guy for over a decade, and having recently switched to TIGER (Mac OS X) I gotta say that the Mac thang is rather sweet in many ways.

The end result on a PC is virtually the same, but the journey to that end point tends to be much cooler n' groovier on a MAC system.

I've found OS X and XP both to have their shortcomings and upshoots as far as stability, but I'm happy to have crossed the bridge to OS X.

I am NOT planning on joining the iCult though - any more than I did with GatesWorld. Very Happy
