Actually, I was under the impression that DP "got crazy" because the FIRST response of the Moderating team was to REMOVE his entry, with only a generic "this is inappropriate"-type PM after the fact. No one gave him the opportunity to "provide external source credit" or "voluntarily remove the entry." I'd have been upset at that, too, especially if it was not explained why my entry was "inappropriate."

Had I used a front view, would that have been taken down as well?
Couldn't someone have asked me to replace it or remove it?

if that is the case, I would have to agree, some time should have been given for sources, answers, etc... but like I said before, I never saw it, so what can I say

Yep.
No one contacted me to ask me about the chop...or the source...or anything else.
No one contacted me to ask me to remove or replace the chop.
It was just REMOVED.

you should post it DP. so people can see that the original source was still there and this wasn't a 'lets use a different picture' and call it an entry like some were suggesting was the case.

No. I'm not gonna do that.
The contest is almost over.
People have read into this and formed their own opinions about it anyway.
Posting the chop now isn't gonna solve anything.
However, if Upper Management says it's against the RULES...howsabout adding it TO the rules?
And for the record, it would've been nice to have gotten a PM FIRST before my images was removed. Damn shame I can't even have an entry with my OWN KIDS as source. And I can't do another because I'm away from my computer.
So...now that I've got my answer(s)....topic closed.

If you want to self include you in your chop, you can. That's what Reindude did many times. No, you can't have pics of him but why would you need those? He looks like sh*t! The problem in that case is that those kids already are in the source pic...
