I am very sorry for popping ANOTHER H2H thread in your face but I was wondering.. Is it absolutely necessary for us NOT to be able to edit an H2H entry after uploading it?? I totally understand it once the voting has begun.. but until that time...

I agree 100%. For some reason I always want to make an adjustment after seeing what it looks like up on PSC. Luckily I'm satisfied with the way mine uploaded and looks. It makes sense not allowing people to change an image during voting, but before people are even allowed to see it? There's got to be a reason. Maybe it's a technical issue involving the amount of space alloted to the contest.

maybe.. my pics look a lot more desaturated when uploading here at psc, so constant changes are routine..

Same here

the color profile of the jpg here on psc is different from the profile i use with photoshop. Resulting in a slightly different image (contrast, darkness). It can be quite annoying.

if it is possible change the rules a bit (from second round)

I agree though that editing should not be possible while voting (which seems perfectly logical)

Ok if you want to see how your image looks on the site and want to be able to edit then just open a forum post...insert your image and then preview it...same gamma and contrast/lighting...just dont submit it
easy huh Very Happy

ok did some searching

The color profile is dependent on your browser, not from the psc site Smile

So, before submitting your entry.

Save the jpg somewhere on your disk

Open it with your preferred browser (usually file -> file open.. )
the image will be shown in your browser like it will be shown on any site.
