Jess had a inverse reaction to a combination of the h2h result, being piped to a win by Hero after leading the cat comp from the very moment it opened only to lose it in the last 20 minutes. And just general annoyances Jfish had with PSC

IF Jess wanted to discuss this in forums he would have.
Discussing what you "THINK" happened is just .......
silly.
Either PM the guy and give him a vote of confidence or leave him alone.
Maybe he'll cool off and come back, this speculation isnt helping at all.

the fish went through a lot of trouble to remove his existence from the site, even so far as to replace all forum posts.

Jess had some great images and I thought he was coming along well...if he stopped having fun after posting 48 images, oh, well.
96 posts before I had my first win...and I do have a lot of fun here and learn more everyday...not just about PS, but photography, music, new technology in the graphics industry, etc.
It's not all about the votes, folks!
What I find absolutely the BEST THING about ALL of us is this...
we work hard just to amaze each other w/ a chop...be it funny, clever, outta the box creative, or deftly made.
yep, that's the BEST THING!

Hey Joey, I understand where you're coming from, I thought Jess had some real tallent, and maybe others here in this thread might show some of that support as well, sure PSC has its ups and downs, we have to take the good with the bad. If I had just IM'd him, he might not know that he is missed by others here as well, so that's why the thread.

Cool then. Used to talk with Jess a bit. I like the guy a great deal--usually extremely down to earth. not too many people i get a chance to e-know around here, I hope he just fixes his port and jumps right back in.
