You could do freelancing. There's a lot of freelancing and contest sites on the internet. It's hard to make big bucks, but you can always make a bit of cash in your spare time. But this can be good, especially cuz you're young and probably lack experience. This will give you a chance to get some experience. Try these:

There are many many more, but a lot of them are crap. The best ones are the ones where you can just advertise yourself, and you can work individually with someone.
So try advertising yourself around where you live, give word of mouth to people so they can come to you for graphic design jobs. Try advertising yourself on sites like craigslist under services/creative.
You can always look for full time jobs in your area at marketing, design and print businesses. If they don't hire you because of lack of experience, you can always volunteer your services, and you may get a permanent position later.
