Maybe I'm dumb but someone may help me.

I came to unusual problem. I dont like one of my pre-entries and I decide to go from scratch since there is plenty of time to edit. But I lost the big size original.

Where on PSC is it possible to get it AGAIN?.

Note that once you post your entry, advantage doesn't show original at that place but rather your entry.

Anyone?

I can give it to you if you like. Smile which day are you in need of?

as for future issues with this, you should always keep an unmarred copy of the original source in a layer of it's own should you ever need to start over.

I need this quilt stuff.

Anyhow I would like to suggest that original should be available no matter what.

Despite of this that I didn't spare original in separate layer or even save the image to my hard disk (mea stupido culpa), it is always possibility that you get in some troubles like corrupted file, accidental deletion, HD failure etc.

What others think of that?

[No matter what you think I'll start to take better care of my backups]

heh, I know what you mean. In the event of that happening, yes, it'd be nice to be able to still view the source online. I've thought about that before, but I've never actually had an issue with it yet, but I do think it'd be a good idea to fix that.

When you board a plane, there's a possibility that it could crash.

When you view your own pre-posted entry I believe you can click on the source thumb and get the full version. Haven't posted in a while so I might be wrong.

Just looked and saw this:

Thank you all for comments, Mason already post me the original.

Clicking on entry gives some opportunuty to se the source but it is way too small.

So far the good option is to ask in a chat or forum, I agree.

In your psd file isn't the original image locked untouched? I always backup originals, because if anything can go wrong it will. Cool

Hal, I think your quilt entry is just about perfect the way it is.

When you work on the image and you save it, you save it as a .psd, don't you? So that long numbered original jpg should still be where ever you download your source image to.

I've got 3 folders
1. Source
2. Images -- externals mostly
3. PSC -- storage for my finished psd's, crazy pics of you guys, and other mysterious stuff.
