Up to now we've only had 2-D linear left to right image stitching. But having seen a 'Droste Effect' Image manipulation on Boing Boing, I'm sure we could do an Escher image within an image wallpaper. A bit like diving into a 'Space Time Continuem' Black Hole of the previous entrants visual. Take a look at what I mean:-

My favorite droste effect was when he was looking at himself with his eyes rolling back into his head looking at himself with his eyes rolling back into his head looking at himself with his eyes rolling..................
