I think 3D software is really cool stuff, I din't know Vokaruis's used it and
even so, still think it's a way cool image...as far as 3d use goes, that's exactly the kinda thing I'd be most forgiving of. yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda for here.....it's cheating. Indeed 3d is work, lots of it, but then again, once ya do it, transforming already done work to create new work is so simple it's ridiculous.
If I were capable of coding and maintaining a site like PSC for 3D, you can bet your yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda doesn't get help and make PSc knockoffs of Flash and 3D I just don't understand. With PSC's page ranking ANY site he makes thats relative to PSC and linked from here
will be at top of search engines from the getgo--even above the sites that are already established. People would pay yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda and oppurtunity.
PS-that golfball contest was sweet one. I wanna see that quality every day doggonit!

a good 3d entry from a while back......

http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/39024/display.html

I like alot of these, but not sure where they fit......if photoshop is still used for some of the edits I say ok I guess.
If no photo editing software at all is used then do they really belong...... One thing that I give mezo credit for doing in most her entries was still leaving a part of the source photo intact & used somehow within the vector creation.

the site is not illustratorcontest.com or 3dsmaxcontest.com

I have software to do both, but have never used either in an entry.....

.... yet Laughing

maybe it´s time for Proc to put up some good prizes, other than these stupid brush bonanza, forge filters, etc etc softwares... We used to have great entries when the prizes were good.

This contest pissed me off because I was beaten by 3D software in a PS contest!

I totally agree with you Tony. This is a Photoshop site, not a 3D site. Soon you will be seeing images made with CAD or Solidworks.

Stick with Photoshop people! Illustrator is okay though.

And by the way, Photoshop CS3 Extended has new 3D features.

Where were you guys when we had this forum discussion like THREE months ago? I stated then that there's plenty of 3D sites for ppl to join in and improve their skills...PSC isn't one of them.

You all are starting to irk me...

Yer mixing things up Eve.
See, nobody was talking about what programs Welan used, and nobody
actually has a problem with the use of any and all programs when they're use is in a supporting roll. Making elements created in other programs the actual star, or key element is.
