I'd probably try this but I don't know how the sh*t works, so...good luck to you guys.

Mason, it is pretty simple... they give you 35Million to spend on 7 players. There are no drafts, so you pick who ever you wish.
but you must fill the team with
2 QBs
2 RBs
2 WRs
1 Team Defense.

best way I know is, get one stud player, fill the rest with mid level players at or around 3-4million.

You can switch up players and tweak the roster as much as you want till Thursday, once the real games start.

Then you get 3 trades off the bat, then you must trade players if one gets hurt, or isn't playing. Then they supply you with more trades during the season...

Ok, I entered this silly fantasy game.

Don't expect me to be doing much "playing" though!

This is really just for fun and for bragging rights here. Since it seems we have quite a few Football fans.

I find this game helps me stay interested in the football games that I normally wouldn't have otherwise watched.

I'd also like to start a Fantasy Hockey League. Please Let me know if anyones interested in that one...

To tell you the truth, I don't really care much for Yankee Football, now Canadian Oddball Rules? Now that's a crazy sport!

I have bought the players, so my team is complete, what is this about joining pro and all the other mumbo jumbo?

meh the pro game just means you can buy trades and other type stuff.. where you're giving real money to the site, but you can win prizes with the pro game like cash payouts (but its not likely) I've done these plenty, I always get rocked...


So in order to keep it fair, I went with the basic free game. where they give you 3 trades off the bat, and I believe every other week they give you one more... this way everyone here will have the same options and money to spend.

it also is a good way to introduce this type of game to people who haven't played before.

if you enjoy the game enough, feel free to make another team and play the free pro game for real prizes, you'll have to spend some real money in order to compete with those people. Some are hell bent on world domination .

I've been doing these for years, you can have enough fun with the free game, if enough friends are involved.

I wouldn't ask for myself, but in case my daughter wants to play it. She is in another online soccer competition each year, maybe she likes a change. Although perhaps she will be too busy studying this year for her biology teachers' thing

I have read all the official notes now. How come they talk about 8 mens team, when there are only 7 players, or is this two different things as well?

Joined in 2001 and still no friends. Could be the Chicago thing.

They just started that option I think last year, and I've never chatted with the other people there. Now you can talk smack in your league and other stuff that you could never do before.

This is the first year I'm trying to get others I know to sign up and join.
