Need to turn a thawed and liquid river into ice. I've been turning a photo on a hot summer day into a picture of a blizzard,(got a lot of help from the "making snow" tut Smile ) and I left the step of freezing the river till last. I've done this with contrast and lighting effects, but it's still looking liquid. Sad Got any suggestions?

If the water is frozen and there is that much snow around it, there would be that much snow on top of it. Wink

you'll have to smooth out the ripples in the river if it has them.
and make it kind of reflective.

try cutting out the river and filling it w/ rendered clouds and then use the smodge tool and add a blur to it and set it as an overlay or the exsiting river
