The tutorials page says that they are made by members.Do people with advantage have this option? Is this just something from the past? Confused

I believe anyone can make a tutorial, but it has to be original. Wink

Those of us who've done them just decided to do it.
(that's the best way to get most things done in life! Wink )

They do have to have some level of "professionalism" in their presentation. That doesn't mean it has to be a complex lesson - just that it is clearly laid out and the image examples are actually helpful and not confusing.

I think the way it would go now is that you'd submit it to PROC and he'd PM it to his Herd Of Mods and they would then vote if it is okay or if it still needs work. (If Proc DOESN'T do it that way, then TO HELL WITH HIM!!!!! Twisted Evil )

Anyway, it is a good way to be a helpful resource here at PSC. Oh, and BTW I got paid about $23,500 dollars CANADIAN for my couple Tuts I did. Sadly, at the time, that was only worth about $14.35 in US funds. Sad Crying or Very sad

Pad, most of us (coughMEcough)have a hard time following the tut's, Laughing Laughing let along trying to make one. Cool Then again it could be my sixth grade( or as i refer to it SENIOR YEAR) education that makes it seem that way. rabbit

i am not promoting any site, and i dont know that someone here has not done this tut. If you wanna see a cool tut go to www.photoshop3d.com. There is a fish tank tut on the home page that will really blow your mind. Not the easiest to follow, but one of the cooloest i have seen for creating 3d in Photoshop.
Some one started a 3d post a while back and thats how i ran upon it. Now when your done you must come staright back......they don't allow lollygaggin on other sites around here. Well the porno sites are allowed, but thats it. Very Happy

Surprised this whole time i have been calling Reinman crazy.......i did not know he was rich........that makes him eccentric, not crazy.
Man i can't wait till i hit that jackpot.........i can go from being that crazy fooker down the street. To the eccentric Mutherfooker on the hill. AHHHHHH the good life. Somebody play the Jeffersons theme song. Laughing

It is SO true:

Crazy, Misguided, Confused + no $ = wacko

Crazy, Misguided, Confused + $$$ = eccentric

In truth I spent all that TUT money on Danish beer and now I'm back to just being WACKO. Wink

(and a LITTLE hung-over... Razz)

Man you have talent running out the wah'zoo. I have watched my fair share of jibjab, but thats one of the best i have seen. Put up some more links

some of us wrote the tuts to give newbies the basic tools for making images. My own idea was to make free tuts that teach you how to use ps and not give just tricks.I could have written many more but only wrote those.
to make some: provide procyon with a text file and the jpegs.

Hah! Sorry, dude. I'm not THAT good. Go to JibJab and you can do some very funky shit with their templates! There is some tricky stuff 'cause you have to use JibJab's "cut out the head from your picture" software, so don't bother spending time in PS to do it ahead of time. The dancing stuff there is VEry Funneee 2.

And, you'll all note just above THIS post is a surprise visit from my dear dear dear Non-Moose friend Ledirlo. All hail him as MIGHTY, for that he is! Very Happy
