Fauxto

http://www.fauxto.com/

An online photo editor kinda like a Photoshop Lite...

Allows you to upload custom SWF brushes...has certain filters and even has layers!

I tried playing around with it earlier, but I didn't have a lot of time to do anything...so...if anyone cares to give it a go...have fun!

(And please, no inane "spam" comments...)

Well - heavens to betsy!!!!

You don't want to hear SPAMMMMM!!! But I don't like my computer to crash when I click the link you put up above. Within a split second of the time it takes to click on the link, my IE crashed and shut down.

Don't know what it is you are trying to show, but something ain't right with it.

It's pretty cool. You have to sign up to use it, but it takes two seconds.

Well, sorry YOUR browser crashed...that's why I don't use IE.

And I was able to sign up, import an image and play around...

Maybe consider using a different browser?

My windows is very very strickt now that I have had to renew the lot.

The only drawback is that I can also see lots of adds on this site, Where did they come from??

whatever you did? it's on your end, not fauxto.com

The site even works perfectly under ie 5.5
And the only ads there are google-ads. Hardly noticeable even

Back to subject:
by the first looks of it, looks like a pretty decent image editor. Think I'm going to spend some more time with it. Quite interesting

as for usefullness, it's a pretty powerfull* image editor at an affordable price, and you can 'take' it everywhere... so guess that's the main thing

*yet to be determined

It worked now that I tried it this time. I think my IE crashed the first time, when the faux link tried to send me through to the splashup page. This time no problem.

Splashup runs in all browsers, integrates seamlessly with top photosharing sites, and even has its own file format so you can save your work in progress.

Wow! .splash files
