The funny thing is the ebay bid history. Winning bid of $9,100 with aspire1700computer outbidding himself from $227 to $9000 in 4 minutes. I don't get it.

I sure think it is one of the best sales piches I have ever read, and it must have worked.

hmm I agree with some of those commentors there that this will NOT deter that kid from smoking pot. I am no pot smoker but this will drive that kid away from his parent even more and probably increase his pot usage. I knew a kid in college whose dad bought him a corvette and when dad found out he was smoking pot he took the Corvette away. Said friend was sad but the pot smoking continued because he was sad angry and depressed over the car and he felt worse, nothing he could have done would have brought the car back anyway so he just kept on smoking and with his friends that were supportive and it did not help him feel the love from his father. He just wanted to put more distance between him and his parent. So this is really no answer to the issue. Just be there to bail him out of jail and love your kids. The father in this story could have just sold the game and not told his son about the loss and that might have been the best way all around. Sad story.

What ever happen to whipping a kid's ass. This is like -Time out- for teens. TIME OUT is for ball games........not child rearing.

what in the wild, wild world of sports is this world coming too?

lol DewDEW!!!! you know a really great present would have been a real electric guitar instead of a game emulating playing a guitar! Very Happy

Dad could have given that kid a gift that could have brought self esteem and skill and possibly a career down the road! Crazy!

Hehe... Yeah my oldest son in 9 and he's almost as tall as me. Imagine when he's a teenager... Forget trying to whip someone who can wrestle you to the ground!!

Well, if you all knew how to properly parent a kid, you'd get a kid like me. Razz
