Most Pros use Macs.
They are much more user friendly. You don't have to be a tech guru to understand them or fix them. They come with all kinds of useful software for making movies, organizing photos, a multi-track recording system for recording your bands music.(garage band), Dvd creating software. a slick operating system which Vista tried to copy. (unsuccessfully) Macs don't get viruses. To uninstall a program you just throw it in the garbage. You don't have to restart your computer every time you install something. It's very difficult to accidently throw away a file that makes your computer run. Anti-virus doesn't slow you're system down to a crawl. Every Joe-Blow company makes PCs. Only Apple makes Macs. You never know what your going to get with a PC. (Ask Anfa how his ACER laptop is doing?) That's my 2 cents. Cool
I've worked with both for many years. Macs rock!!

im not taking parts here but there's some not so accurate information here...

1)a slick operating system which Vista tried to copy.
OSX is based on unix
2)Macs don't get viruses
the viruses issue has been discussed
3)You don't have to restart your computer every time you install something
that is true for the pc also from windows 98 on i believe
4) It's very difficult to accidently throw away a file that makes your computer run
It also takes a very dumb person to do that
5)Anti-virus doesn't slow you're system down to a crawl.
wasn't the mac virus free?
6)Every Joe-Blow company makes PCs.
and your point is?
7)You never know what your going to get with a PC
on the contrary you can assemwble every part of a pc to get exactly what you need

that said, i hope a day i can buy a g series mac (are they called mac pro now?) and work with both.

I was on the Amiga boat prior to Mac. It could have soared ahead of them all but Commador had no idea what they had their hands on. And let it fade away with no new programs being written for it. If only the Amigas inventor had not run out of money and sold off to Commador. We would be in a different boat right now. I would have been still paddling 4000 for sure.

So there! Razz

This movie trailer changed my view on the whole mac vs pc issue

...First of all, I have never knowingly slept with a Windows user. Ever. Ever. That would never ever happen...

other memorable quotes:

...I would say that Muslims go to Mecca, we come to Macca...

...Only Steve knows. He knows what people really need before they know they need it...

Woohoo! The Atari 800 was our first computer! Had a FULL 48kb of RAM! That's right! 48 kilobytes! Laughing

I remember when we upgraded to the Atari 1040ST... the "first home computer with a full MEGABYTE of RAM," Dad would proudly tell me. Ahhhh, the memories.... We had plenty of floppy disks for those.

So... What was the question? scratch
