I'm happy eating anything that has less than 5 legs and more than 1.

And ISN'T human. Just in case Claf gets his hopes up! Razz Wink

Okay, 24 hours. WHooooo HOOO! I'm coming in via greyhound (just like being in college again) and then heading out by Via Rail the next day down to the Toronto area. I'll be lugging all my gear and maybe a sandwiche too. I should be good to go, as long as SAGE's cat does not do anything CATlike to my gear. Razz

http://www.greyhound.ca/scripts/en/TicketCenter/Step3.asp

Type in Kirkland Quebec as your destination.

schedule 7517 leaves Ottawa at 2pm and stops in Kirkland at 3:35.

Kirkland, Quebec

Address
DEPANNEUR BONSOIR
9025-6991 QUEBEC INC.
2875 BOUL. ST CHARLES
Kirkland, PQ H9H3B5
Telephone Numbers
Main: 514-630-4836

So it's not the Holiday Inn...But this is where you should disembark. It'll cut your trip by about 30 mins, and you'll be around the corner from my work, and you can grab a beer while you wait for me..

Wacky Info! How do I know you are not trying to mis-direct me away from your home and family!? Shocked

(maybe you don't want to share your beer with me? Razz)

Reinman certainly meant firecrackers, right?

On another note, I just want to point out this piece of news to everyone; it rarely ever snows in Vancouver, is this all a coincidence? Reinman, your visit might've disrupted the fragile balance of our country's weather.

Snowballs soon to be slush balls in Vancouver
Updated Thu. Nov. 30 2006 10:04 AM ET

Canadian Press

VANCOUVER -- Snowballs will soon become slush balls as temperatures rise following another winter blast in southwestern British Columbia.

Up to 10 centimetres of snow fell overnight in the B.C. Lower Mainland, double that in some parts of eastern Vancouver Island.

The latest storm came after a weekend dump of up to 50 centimetres and bitter cold that led to treacherous driving conditions.

The main roads aren't as bad as feared today, and Environment Canada says the melt will be gradual under clearing skies -- although a few flurries and showers will persist in the Fraser Valley.

The forecast high today is 4 degrees in Vancouver and 8 in Victoria.

B.C. Hydro crews continued repair work around the clock, restoring power to thousands of customers and heading out to deal with new outages.
