Hey, I'm thinking about getting a graphics tablet soon.
I was planning on getting a wacom tablet, but I saw this larger one for half the price. All the reviews I've seen, say its surprisingly good for the price.
Do you guys know anything about this tablet? Is it good quality?
thanks, foot.

I bought this guy about two years ago for around $60 CAN. (75$ US Razz) and loved it. Not as solidly built as the WACOM but the pen action is really good and for me, a only "sometimes" tablet user, it was perfect.

The WACOMs are better and I agree with Micose if you are gonna make it your main graphics data entry device. Otherwise, for $50, I'm sure the Genius (or Bamboo) will do just fine.

I've had two Wacom Tablets, the first a large one, and the second a 6X8 smaller one... Like the actress said, size isn't everything, just a lot more wrist work! LOL!

My only complaint about the current Wacom Tablets is with the rubberised pen grip, which is shit... IT PERISHES!!!!! I've been through TWO, and Wacom say they won't replace it for me any more. That really pissed me off, as it's really a design fault on their part. So beware, if you use that pen a lot! Wink

My advice is go with the cheapy if it's a good deal, after all, you're just paying for the WACOM name, and you could probably get 2 cheapies for the price of the WACOM. At least the PEN's would last a bit longer! Wink LOL!

Wiz

Very Happy

So, of the people who think I should get a wacom, do you think the difference is worth paying more for a smaller wacom tablet?

I will not respond, as I am not one of the people who think you should get a Wacom.
