Please be gentle ..I'm an noob here..first post.

Problem - I just had my PC upgraded to Windows XP Pro SP2 and now I cannot get Photoshop CS3 to work properly.

It was working 100% previously with old windows but now when I go to save an image in PS the screen flickers then PS freezes. Only way to close PS then is to use task manager.

I have done 2 full reinstalls of CS3 suite, rung the shop ("its a software problem..nothing wrong with the OS") and am pulling may hair out now!!

Can anyone pose any possible solutions? I am not IT savvy obviously but cannot afford another visit to the computer repair shop. I'm still trying to get back some other programs that he did not reinstall!

Have you tried finding an answere on the website of the Adobe people? perhaps they already have answers for you in their FAQ

have you got the text tool selected? that takes some options of the list
