Hi, everyone.

I'm doing an easter card for my dad for his church and the didn't like clipart around the cross, so I need to cobble together some appropriately shaped lilies to make the same effect but with real flowers. Trouble is, it's not a standard plat shape - it's a "spray" type thing, which isn't really a big deal either, but the lilies are all colored and I want white. Is there a good way to make pale yellow into pure white? I'm working off of 7, so I don't have the match color option - not that I think that would help anyway, but... any advice would be great! Thanks!!

Go to > Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance > Hue & Saturation.

Adjust your Lillies in either or both of the above and do a little cut and stick with the new coloured flower heads onto the original.

Send me the image and I'll do it for you if you like no Problemo

Thanks, Wiz! I actually just finished - I gave up and found colors close enough that I could do it with brightness/contrast. I figured I'd leave the question, though, in case I run into this problem again. I tried hue/sat, but I kept ending up with grey lilies and a lot of expletives.

This took about 3 minutes.
Go to Select - Color Range...select the yellow. Refine your selection. (At this point I also made it a path just in case more work needed to be done.)
With the selection active, go to Image - Adjustment - Replace color. +Lightness, -Saturatioin, and find the right Hue.

Does this help?

Thanks, Eve. I got similar results with hue/sat, but I really wanted that pure white color.
