btw, Vok's trick appears to work for posting new threads. Basically I just wanted to see if it would.

Quote:
Workaround solution:
1. Post your reply to a thread. Click Submit.
2. You'll land on the Error page. Don't pay attention to it. Don't re-post. Don't hit refresh (F5). Don't go back.
3. Go to your profile page (Portfolio - Profile)
4. Click on the Forum Posts link. Notice your last post at the top of the list.
5. Click on the link (the title of the thread) at the top of the posted message to "activate" your last message (and all the other stuck in front of you)

I lost a new forum thread, probably because of the bug. And it did not show up in the forum list either. Another time it took about one hour to show up in the little list on the front page, that I reactivated an old forum thread. * sigh *

The only other way to update your information, I found is to just leave the site all together and then log on again a little later. Because then you get the "updated" site.

It's just like we are living in a town that has all sewers dug up for repair and we get so bloody used to the heaps of sand and the potholes that we are telling eachother how not to fall and break our necks around town.....

THAT IS NOT RIGHT IS IT???? PROC????

As per Vok's workaround...
*Post a new thread.
*Get the debug error.
*Click on your portfolio link at the top.
*Click on the profile link at the top of your portfolio.
*Click on the 'forum posts' link (the blue number of posts) under your joined date.
*This seems to activate your post.
*Select your most recent post.
*And bingo, you should be right.

It'd be a lot easier if Proc turned up and fixed the f#@%in' thing though. Don't remember things ever getting this bad with Jeremy running the show.

Hope this works Paul.
Brad.

PS. Follow EXACTLY the same procedure to reply to post.
Vok's the man! Thanks.

All I do is click post, then back back to the thread, then I refresh and my message appears.
