I'm cheating a bit because I don't have an MP3 player, but I opened a random file on my computer (untitled) and will give you 15 (untitled, so I'll have to listen to see what I have) songs.

1. Angeles (Elliott Smith)
2. Lovers Cross (Jim Croce)
3. Some song by Lindsey Buckingham (Trying for the Sun?)
4. Black Eyed Dog (Nick Drake)
5. Oh My Sweet Carolina (Ryan Adams w/ backup by the wonerful Emmylou Harris!)
6. Naked As We Came (Iron & Wine?)
7. Curbside Prophet (Jason Mraz)
8. Don't Cross the River (America)
9. Tried so Hard (Gene Clark)
10. Amy (Pure Prairie League)
11. Give Me Love (George Harrison)
12. Looking Through You (the Wallflowers)
13. I Know I'm Not Alone (Michael Franti)
14. Dizzy (Jimmy Reed)
15. Revolution (Grandaddy)

Not really a fair sample, though, because really all I have on my computer are a few mix CDs, a huge load of Gail Davies (no one's heard of her, don't feel bad) and Wild Choir (Gail Davies' band). Most of my music listening happens in the car.

My list is from a huge shared file. In other words, They are not all my mp3's. Some are melaniedoggy's and some are amberdoggy's. Either way, I hardly got into the c's before my list was full.

4) 05 Van Halen - Drop Dead Legs
27) Amy Winehouse - Love is a Lasting Game
33) Aqua - Candyman
41) Audioslave - Doesn't Remind Me
47) Beastie Boys - Whatcha Want
55) Billy Idol - LA Woman
59) Billy Squire - Lonely is the Night
67) Bob Marley - Three Little Birds
72) Bon Jovi - Love For Sale
77) Bon Jovi - Wild is the Wind
82) Brooks & Dunn - Boot Scootin Boogie
8Cool Cake - Daria
91) Cake - I Will Survive
94) Cake - Never There
99) Carlos Santana - Just Feel Better

I remember clearly the day Jim Croce died. I was just a little kid. My mom cried. We regularly loaded up the BSR record changer with his music. My mom still calls me Slim.

2. spit into the wind
3. Pull the mask off of the Lone Ranger
4. Mess around with Janetdog!
