The "Avid Perfect Pitch Contest" site still didn't make any official ranking
This site isn't look like so well organized for contests. Some complained about the voting rules... other rules also sometimes make people confused... some cheating stuff... nothing new about a contest site!
I think the second step is more serious.

I think she moved into a tie for the 15th place.

The 20 finalists will submit a short business plan and cover letter by May 1, 2008. These materials along with the original pitch will be judged by a panel of industry pros.
A grand prize winner and four runners-up will be announced on June 3, 2008

We had the final news from the Avid contest just when we came back from our last trip one month ago.
Finally my wife was on top 20 for the Avid contest at first step, but she didn't finished in top 5.
So no big prize!
But she won the new version of Avid editing software, the "Avid Media Composer". She's happy about it! This is the best software for movie editing.
