can anyone help me here. Mad
i have adobe photoshop cs3, for the life of me, i just cant get any of the tools or brushes to work, the cursor area can be increased and the cursor moves fine, but nothing happens when i try to draw or clone etc, ive been thru all the settings, looking for any locked layers etc.
i find that files come up as partially locked, but even if i duplicate a layer, still nothing happens.
i've even tried drawing on a new blank canvass and even that doesnt work.
i can however apply a gradient and use filters etc.
the funny thing is that i can use all the features of photoshop 7 on the same machine with no problems.
i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that doesnt work either.
i'm all of out of ideas
Sad dolph

if you have reloaded PSC3 and it still dont work i'd say it's gotta be a registery problem, did you have the trial version running before you installed the full virsion? i know that can throw up all kinds of problems, there's a few patches on adobes site

Update: (it's been a while)
try resetting your preferences to factory settings.
If you previously made preference settings, revisit them and take note of what they were.
While Holding down the CTRL + Alt + Shift keys, start PShop
Answer the question to delete the preferences file YES
PS will rebuild the pref file to be as it was on delivery.
