When you upload your image you will have the chance
to select if it contains adult ( mature ) content.

This is how it could be shown if not loged in... before this is implemented ( if it is ) you will have to confirm date of birth
( will not be shown in your profile ). All new members when signing up will have to do this.

No. You will have to rely on the user to use the button.
I got enough to do. Wink To many holes in this idea.

Is it really too hard to press a button when uploading a chop? interesting you say this Rey, someone who does wonderful images cant find time to do one more step before uploading?

I agree this concept has many holes, but the idea is bullet proof. We just need to work out some bugs Very Happy

By mature, your talking full frontal nudity or sexual theme ect, or just nudity. If just nudity then my question is what is classed as nudity, ive entered a few contests here with nudity and non have ever been removed or questioned, infact even placed high with a win and a third place, so all these people who complained about marcos thread saying nudity has no place in here, why were my pieces never pulled. I would really like a detailed discription as to what is classed as nude/nudity.

Quote:
nu·di·ty Audio Help /ˈnudɪti, ˈnyu-/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[noo-di-tee, nyoo-] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun, plural -ties for 2. 1. the state or fact of being nude; nakedness.
2. something nude or naked.

Quote:
Q: Are adult images suitable here?
A: Sorry, but they are not. Anything posted to our site that is offensive in nature will be removed, including nudity.

So my vote btw would be yes

Why does this subject keep coming up? Did nobody see REYREYS second place chop in the reunion contest? Did nobody see my chop that sat at the top of most voted for a couple years?
Some of you guys put so much effort into trying to push the line a little further than what it is. There are numerous, hundreds, probably thousands of sites where you are completely welcome to post adult content.
Nobody is stopping you from going there. I for one am not going to participate on a site that becomes about images of little boys peeing in public, or close ups of a woman's vagina, or men's genitalia--- WHICH IS WHAT THIS DISCUSSION IS ABOUT.
Artistic nudes, like you'd see in any Euro museum have always been ok, are ok, and this has gotten way old.

I really don't have much to say about it, but I wouldn't want to like this site becoming about who can post the most "mature" entry. Really like it as is now.

I've been back and forth on this issue, which is why I haven't said anything.
After much deliberation, I've decided that it's really NOT taking away from a piece of works value to cover up a nipple here and there.
Really.

Really, people... it AIN'T that BROKE here. No need to fix anything.

There are other issues more "pressing" than nipples for us to worry about.

I'm fine with the way it is (as far as nipples and (as Scion pointed out) "male genitalia" go. Oh, AND vaginas. They are okay too - the way they are. Here. On this site... NOT on this site.)

Er... um

Embarassed

You know what I'm sayin, DAMMIT!

I never saw mature stuff here.
Also, usually the offended people are over 18... so it didn't work.
There's no need... no change please!

Some good ideas here on how to handle it Oscar, and to be clear I do appreciate you attempting to come up with a solution. Props to you dude. I just don't think this particular change is neccessary.

(I can't even SPELL "necessary" for cryin' out loud!) Razz

Oscar, great job on the idea and presentation for sure.

With nudity, the only hole (no pun intended) i see is what is ADULT CONTENT

What makes some Smile makes others Sad .....and until the Sad 's are ok with what the Smile 's want......you'll get. shakng2 .....which by the way, is not a good thAng. I would like to also point out that the shakng2 is the #1 killer of great Idea 's. Mainly due to the fact that picking a colors that everyone is Hug with is not easy.

I think a little cat would be salut ..... Mr. Green
