Hey i'm totally new to this and im starting to getting into marketing by way of helping my other half's company.

i have figured out how to make an html, how to insert urls into it...but...i seem to have a big flaw...unless you're on my computer you can't view the pictures used...all the links and slices show up but not alot else...prob something basic i've messed up on but please enlighten me?

i'll be sooooooooooo greatful!!

check where the url to where the image is linked to and see its set to the right directory on your internet server.

It would be alot easier if you gave us a link and we could examine the HTML.

we cant see the images when the url is linked to your C:\

that's what i mean, as a link it's to my computer...where am i meant to save it to make it accessable? coz in photoshop i did save for web...and it saved as an html...but the ur l is like C blah blah for my comp....

did you upload the images to your web server first and put them into an images folder?

if so, then ok...

change the html links from (something like this)

C:\\My Computer\My Webpage\images\image1.jpg

to

/images/image1.jpg

post your code up here for more help.

~ it won't let me post any urls up here yet coz im too new or something lol

right so the only way to do what im trying to do is by having a webpage??

coz im not trying to build one, just trying to make a glorified picture, which can be put in emails to customers with links and embedded stuff....all that links urls etc i can do, just stuck on the picture malarki...

and yes i know i have a lot to learn, like i said i am brand new and only started to try do this project an hour ago, and already taught myself how to use photoshop basically and do the slices etc....

so all help appreciated Smile

ok found out i can have access to the company my partner works for webserver thingy...once i have that...what's the next step?
