The idea here at this point seems a bit safe and played out. The tires don't seem blended in well but I do like the stfuac on the bike. The rider is done very well. The car seems too small. The other entry is cool but does not seem to utilize enough source other than overlays.

Although the texture/gloves are done well I'm leaning this way as I feel like more effort has been put in here. The cyclists on the gloves just seemed to much like a stretch enabling the use of a striking external.

Meh. This has a few flaws that bother me (the repeating of the brick pattern being the main one). The car doesn't look very painted to me. However, the work on the crashing biker is excellent. The other image is very clean, but doesn't seem to have much of an idea going for it (Maybe I am missing something?) -- just looks like an exercise in using overlay.

I can appreciate the work required to create the gloves and coat overlay in the other. This one works with the source more and shows a bit more effort in repositioning the rider and cycle.

The other entry is a very interesting image, but this one (to me) works off the original theme better... though the dude kinda looks like he's in ecstasy instead of pain. (And, yes, I guess there is a very fine line with that, eh? :)

Nice work the detail is very good and the idea ou of the box. Your opponents work is good as well but this just had the edge because of the idea and the detailed work. Well done to you both

The poor integration of the car on the other one (edges too harsh in spots, but then smudged in others / contrast too low) swayed me to vote for this one, which is a good bit more work than appears on the surface.
